Freehold, NJ., (November 25, 2019) – Henrik Lundqvist, the legendary goaltender for the New York Rangers of the National Hockey League (NHL), will return to The Event Center at iPlay America in Freehold, New Jersey on January 18, 2020.

Lundqvist will be making his first off the ice exclusive appearance of 2020 at iPlay America for a live moderated Q&A and Meet & Greet with his fans. The 37-year-old will answer questions all about his record setting career thus far, status of the current New York Rangers rebuild, and expectations moving forward on the ice. In addition, Lundqvist will sign autographs and take photos with those in attendance.

The Swedish-born hockey star is the only goaltender in NHL history to record 30 wins in each of his first seven seasons. Lundqvist, dubbed by New York fans as “The King,” has accomplished many feats such as leading the Swedish men’s team to their second Olympic gold medal in 2006, winning the Venezia Trophy in 2012, being named the NY Rangers MVP in 2016, among other groundbreaking achievements.

“We’re honored to have Henrik Lundqvist of the New York Rangers return to The Event Center at iPlay America and to give our visitors the chance to meet one of the most legendary ice hockey players in the National Hockey League,” said Jessica Schwartz, Vice President of Sales and Marketing for iPlay America. “After last year’s event sold out, we look forward to giving Rangers fans a new opportunity to meet the hockey legend.”

Doors will open at 2:30 PM and the event will start at 3:30 PM.
