Loyal Fans Lined Up To Meet The King of Strong Style At iPlay America On Sunday
WWE Superstar, Shinsuke Nakamura, smashed it out of the ring this past Sunday, July 29th at iPlay America in Freehold, NJ! The King of Strong Style held his very own Meet & Greet that included photographs, autographs, and special VIP Packages. Fans were starstruck by our guest star with his seamless transition from the wrestling ring straight to the floor to meet loyal fans of the sport.
In preparation for this event, Nakamura told Asbury Park Press (APP), “I like to see fans because sometimes they give me their own art, like a painting, a drawing, like doodles,” Nakamura continued, “They always tell me, ‘I get inspired from you.’ When I hear that, I think I’m doing good.”
Back in 2002, Nakamura was a star in New Japan Pro Wrestling where he first attributed his nickname, The King of Strong Style, due to his stylistic moves in the ring and unique personality.
Now part of the WWE, Nakamura has held various titles, including WWE United States Champion, 2-time NXT Champion, 3-time IWGP Heavyweight Champion, IWGP Tag Team Champion, and IWGP U-30 Openweight Champion.
Despite the multitude of wins, Nakamura was defeated on The Grandest Stage of Them All at WrestleMania by none other than WWE Champion, AJ Styles. WWE Superstar, Shinsuke Nakamura, then hit Styles with a low blow after the bell rang, shocking fans across the nation!
