Freehold, NJ – Tenth Avenue North is an American contemporary Christian music (CCM) band from West Palm Beach, Florida. Tenth Avenue North has toured with David Crowder Band, Casting Crowns and MercyMe and headlines their own concerts throughout the United States. On Friday, October 7, 2016, Tenth Avenue North will bring their message and music LIVE in concert to iPlay America’s Event Center. Doors open at 6 PM and the show starts at 6:45 PM.
“Tenth Avenue North is an acclaimed GMA Dove Award winning band,” said Jessica Schwartz, vice president of sales and marketing. “There is this special kind of energy when a band is about to release a new album, and we know Tenth Avenue North will treat the iPlay America audience to a very special concert.”
The band features Mike Donehey on vocals and acoustic guitar, Jeff Owen on electric guitar and backup vocals, Ruben Juarez III on bass guitar and backup vocals, Jason Jamison on drums and Brendon Shirley on keyboard. Last May, 2016, the band released the first single, What You Want, from their new album to be released later this year. This will be the fifth album from the band, following up on the success of Over and Underneath, The Light Meets the Dark, The Struggle and Cathedrals. Tenth Avenue North has become synonymous with emotive, honest, even raw songs of faith, that often deal with pain, songs that have a universal message for others facing their own struggles.
