Freehold, N.J. – The Marvel comics show “The Hero Within” comes to iPlay America’s Event Center on Sunday, May 17, for family-friendly shows at 12 p.m. and 3 p.m. Doors open one hour before show time.

Featuring Spider-Man, Captain America, Iron Man, Thor and the Evil Green Goblin – the Mighty Marvel Super Heroes star in this 25-minute educational, humorous, action-packed show that begins with the Green Goblin believing that he has developed a device to steal all powers from the Super Heroes. Spider-Man is then led to believe the Green Goblin has stolen all of his powers. The Show soon spirals into action packed chaos and the Super Heroes finally convince Spider-Man that he never lost his powers and there is “Hero” within all of us. After a series of humorous and action packed scenes, justice prevails and the children learn the importance of believing in yourself. The “Hero Within” is a light hearted, comedy based show that features action packed Super Hero scenes as well as an educational message that the children can take home with them

Families can come at 11 a.m. to enjoy brunch at Game Time Bar & Grill, go to the show at noon, and enjoy the park afterward, or if they’re coming to the 3 p.m. show, they can eat and play before or after the show. Children and parents are invited to come dressed as their favorite super heroes. General admission tickets are free with the purchase of a Super Hero iRide Pass for $14.95 or a Super Hero Plus Pass for $27.95 that includes a $10 game card. The ride passes and game cards are valid up to 90 days after the show. Those who purchase the Super Hero Plus Pass may also add a meet and greet for $9.95.
