Freehold, NJ – iPlay America offers another weekend filled with great events Oct. 23-25 in Freehold.
On Thursday, Oct. 23, iPlay America welcomes Keys Dueling Pianos in Game Time Bar and Grill for a free show. The pianists featured in this show perform to sold-out audiences in the tri-state area with a repertoire of more than 2,000 songs. The show is fast paced, interactive and audience-driven where everyone is encouraged to sing along and audience members are often invited to the stage. The show begins at 8:30 p.m.
On Friday, Oct. 24, Catch a Rising Star and iPlay America present comedian Rob Bartlett. Nearly 30 years into his career, Bartlett has become one of the most versatile performers around – successful in acting, stand-up comedy, radio and writing. He has headlined tours to comedy clubs and colleges across the U.S. including in Las Vegas and Atlantic City and has appeared on MTV’s Half-Hour Comedy Hour, Standup Spotlight on VH1 and Late Night with both David Letterman and Conan O’Brien. He was a member of the improvisational trio The Identical Triplets that featured Eddie Murphy, which broke up shortly after Murphy’s debut on Saturday Night Live. Tickets are $25 with a two-item minimum.
On Saturday, Oct. 25, join iPlay America as AJR returns for a special, intimate concert. The band’s song “I’m Ready” has more than 1 million YouTube views and enjoys heavy play on pop radio’s coveted SiriusXM “Hits 1” station. The trio of Met brothers accomplished this alone – writing, recording and producing its own songs in the living room of their shared Chelsea, New York, apartment. Adam, on bass/vocals, is a 23-year-old Columbia graduate. Ryan, on guitar/piano/vocals, is a bespectacled 19-year-old Columbia student who serves as the band’s main songwriter. Jack, on lead vocals/guitar, is 16 and splits time between the band and attending the Professional Children’s School on NYC’s Upper West Side.
