Holi Brings People Together In a Fun, Colorful Way

As we celebrate the arrival of spring and the passing of winter, iPlay America is hosting a Holi celebration to honor this special time. Rain or shine, it’s going to be an awesome evening, featuring a FREE Holi Celebration that everyone can enjoy.

Why is Holi Celebrated?

In India, Holi announces the arrival of spring and the passing of winter. The festival breathes an atmosphere of social merriment.

According to the Society for the Confluence of Festivals in India, “Holi is considered as one of the most revered and celebrated festivals of India.” This colorful “festival of love” is celebrated in almost every part of the country. As home to the largest Hindu population in the US, NJ is the epicenter for Holi celebration in the west. Hindus and people of all cultures unite and let go of all resentments and bad feelings towards each other. The fun, vibrant colors bring in a lot of positivity in our lives, making Holi a day worth celebrating!

Everyone Is Welcome!

Celebrating Holi can be fun for everyone. Come together with friends to celebrate new beginnings and set differences aside. For parents, this is a good opportunity to introduce different cultural holidays to children and help them learn about diversity and cultural awareness.
